HQM（High Quality Music）Store The closest thing to an analogue master tape. These CDs are cut from unprocessed original analogue masters to keep signal conversion to an absolute minimum. We use the most direct route possible: a STUDER A80 studio tape machine from the analogue era and an HHB professional master recorder for 1:1 AAD transfer. Every 1:1 AAD direct-cut disc is a digital copy of the analogue master - a collector's copy worth listening to.
HD-Mastering CD More than two decades after the CD was introduced, labels keep looking for ways to improve CD sound. ABC (International) Records worked with the German Golden Ear recording studio on new materials and new techniques. Instead of the usual polycarbonate surface, these discs use a liquid-crystal surface layer together with a high-damping coating that noticeably improves transparency. The result is the HD-Mastering CD - a serious step up for audiophiles.
1/4" Open Reel Tape
The highest standard of source material - the peak of analogue recording.
If you have ever listened to a professional studio master tape, you know the feeling: more natural, more three-dimensional, deeper, and closer to the original performance. Compared with LP, SACD or any digital format, it is an unmatched listening experience.
Vinyl Records
Pick a good record, put the needle down and let it travel the groove while friends pass the sleeve around. Album art has become a lost art in the age of the tiny CD booklet; on a 12-inch sleeve you can read every credit without a magnifier. Vinyl listening is more engaging and far more social. Take off your headphones, switch off the computer, and enjoy pure music. Turntables and vinyl are still cool - long live vinyl!
